Fifty-eight years ago today, on February 19th, 1967 (January 11th, 1967 in the lunar calendar), the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China asked middle schools to go back to their schools and make a revolution while attending classes. On February 19th, 1967, the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China issued the Opinions on the Great Proletarian Cultural Revolution in Middle Schools. The Opinions stipulated that from March 1st, teachers and students in middle schools should stop going out in series and go back to their schools to make revolutions while attending classes. Middle school teachers and students conduct military training in stages and batches. Rectify the Red Guard organizations, and all reactionary organizations such as "Linkage" and "Red Terrorist Team" will be dissolved. The middle school curriculum mainly studies Chairman Mao's works and the central documents on the Cultural Revolution, criticizes the bourgeois teaching materials and teaching system, and reviews mathematics, science, chemistry, foreign languages and necessary common sense. Teachers, students and employees who were labeled as "counter-revolutionaries" and "rightists" at the beginning of the movement must be rehabilitated.
