On January 4, 1929, Mao Zedong held the "Berlusconference". In mid-December 1928, the Red Fifth Army was mainly in Gongshan and the Red Fourth Army Division. After the reunification, the revolutionary forces of Gongshan represented a greater threat to the enemy, so that the Jiangxi and Hunan military valves, concentrating heavy troops, launched a new offensive on the Huizhou border district. The enemy built a number of bases around Gongshan, blocked and then gradually compressed to the center. With the enemy's blockade, the Red Army's supply became increasingly difficult. Therefore, on January 4 to 6, 1929, Mao Zedong held a joint meeting of the former committee, special committee, and local party organizations in charge of Gongshan
