On this day, 75 years ago, on April 3, 1950 (February 17, 1950 in the lunar calendar), the American master composer Weil passed away. Kurt Weil and his wife Lottie Lenia died on April 3, 1950 at Flower Fivers Street Hospital after a short illness. He was 50 years old. His famous works include "Three Cent Opera" and famous folk songs such as "Speak Quietly" and "Song of September".
