At 16:30 p.m. local time, Hezbollah held a commemorative event in Beirut to mark the first anniversary of the deaths of its former leaders Hassan Nasrallah and Hashim Saffidin. The event took place in front of the tomb of Nasrallah, where thousands of people and Hezbollah supporters gathered.
Lebanese Hezbollah leader Naim Kashim said Hezbollah had rebuilt its leadership and would continue to fight. He accused the United States of putting political pressure on Israel to its goals even after a ceasefire agreement was reached.
It is understood that Hezbollah’s commemoration of Nasrallah will continue until October 12.
