Li Yu (937-978), Yu Chongguang, initially named Congjia, and known as Zhong Yin. Li Jingzi, the ruler of the Southern Tang Dynasty. After ascending the throne in 961, he often worried about the country's situation. In 974, Cao Bin, a general in the Northern Song Dynasty, commanded the army to cross the river and attack the Southern Tang Dynasty. The following year, the city was broken, and Li Yu was forced to surrender. In 977, he went to Tokyo and waited for orders. On August 15, 978 AD (the fourth day of July in the third year of Taiping and Rejuvenation, it was said that he was poisoned by Emperor Taizong of Song. He can write, music, calligraphy and painting, especially poetry. Most of them describe the hedrous life of the court, with a soft style. Later creations express nostalgia for past life. He lamented his life experience and expressed a strong sentimental emotion. Together with his father Jing's work, it is collectively called "Two Main Words of the Southern Tang Dynasty".
