Today, 81 years ago, on April 12, 1944 (March 20, 1944) Mao Zedong delivered his ¡°Learning and Timing¡± speech. In the spring of 1944, Mao Zedong delivered his ¡°Learning and Timing¡± speech at the Yuan Summit on April 12, 1944, communicating the conclusions of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee on several important issues raised by senior Party cadres during the study of Party history, as well as the attitude to study the Party¡¯s historical experience. Mao Zedong pointed out that the cadres should be fully aware of the party¡¯s historical issues in mind, while the historical comrades should take a broad approach when making conclusions, so that on the one hand they can thoroughly understand our Party¡¯s historical experience and avoid repeated mistakes; on the other hand they can unite comrades and work together.
