U.S. cancels visa for Colombian president

The US State Department announced on the 26th that it would revoke the visa of Colombian President Gustavo Petro.

The U.S. State Department said on social media that earlier that day, Petro stood in the streets of New York, “exhorting U.S. soldiers to disobey orders and incite violence.”

Petro is attending the UN General Assembly in new york, and has not yet responded to this.

Colombian Interior Minister Armando Benedetti said on social media on the 26th: "The only person whose visa should be cancelled is (Israeli Prime Minister) Netanyahu, and the United Nations has unanimously determined today that he is'unworthy of being a citizen of the world '."
