Four times Pulitzer Prize-winning American poet Robert Frost is born

Robert Frost (1874–1963), American poet. Born in California. After graduating from high school, he studied two years at Harvard University. Frost began writing poetry at the age of 16 and officially published his first poem at the age of 20. He worked hard and produced more than ten poem collections throughout his life, most notably North Boston (1914), Mountains (1916), New Hampshire (1923), West River (1928), Testimonial Tree (1942) and Forest Space (1962) etc. Frost's poems can be divided into two major categories: short poems and dramatically strong narratives, both populated. Frost's poems mainly portray nature and peasants, especially the scenery of New England and the northern peasants. One of the greatest features of Frost's poem style is the purity

He was awarded the Pulitzer Prize four times in 1924, 1931, 1937 and 1943 and served as a teacher, poet and poet consultant at several renowned universities. In his late years he was an unofficial Crown poet of the United States. At his 75th and 85th birthday, the U.S. Senate made a resolution to pay tribute to him. His poetry was formally close to traditional poetry, but not as intricate as a romantic, idealistic poet. He did not pursue external beauty. His poetry often began by depicting the natural landscape or custom of New England, and gradually entered the realm of philosophy.
