The German Federation¡¯s Star magazine held a press conference in Hamburg on April 22, 1983, claiming to have discovered Hitler¡¯s diaries from June 22, 1932 to mid-April 1945, a total of 62. This incident caused shock in the western world, known as the biggest post-war news discovery. The Star magazine was able to sell the links to the western press for up to $3 million.
