One of the representatives of Format Psychology. Born on January 21, 1887 in Tallinn, and graduated on June 11, 1967 in Enfield, New Hampshire, USA. He received a doctorate in philosophy from the University of Berlin in 1909. He was a professor and director of the Institute of Psychological Studies at the University of Berlin in 1921. In 1912 he joined K. Kovacs to participate in the experimental study of the dynamic phenomena of M. Weatherheimer and jointly laid the foundation of Format Ta Psychology.
