The Buddha statue, called "North Weita and the Statue", was built in 499 BC, during the North Weita period of the Southern Dynasty of China, and is the oldest stone statue discovered in Beijing, and for 1500 years, the Buddha statue was placed in a stone house in the village of Haidian district. The Buddha statue, 165 cm tall, carved by a complete stone, was moved by the thieves with a iron rod.
