Albert (1871-1925), the right-wing leader of the German Socialist Party, the Weimar Republic and the first president. In 1871 was born in Heidelberg a household of seamstresses. In 1891 he joined the German Social Democratic Party. In 1912 he was elected to the Empire Parliament. In November 1918, when he was Prime Minister of the Empire, the November Revolution broke out in Germany.
