The Treaty of China-British-Tibetan Print was signed on 17 March 1890.
In December 1886, British Ambassador Walter suddenly arrived at the Qingdao Prime Minister’s gate, accusing the Tibetan authorities of establishing artillery near a hundred miles outside the border from the Big Bang, with the intention of blocking trade. In the second year, the Tibetan army crossed the border to the Qingdao (Nanjing) area. Britain ordered the Qing to withdraw the Tibetan army, otherwise the British Indian colonial authorities would “dispatch the troops out of the border.” In March 1888, the British ambassador to Tibet, while entering Tibet, invaded the Philosophical Capital of Mengdao (Gantok). The Qingdao not only supported the British local government’s struggle, but also strictly forbade the Chinese army
