Abraham Lincoln was born on February 12, 1809, in a family of timber workers in Harding County, Kentucky, who were forced to survive, and had worked in various jobs such as shopkeepers, village mailers, meterers and cutting bars. In 1834, he was elected to the Illinois parliament and began his political career.

This event aroused Lincoln's passion for the struggle, and he explicitly announced his political proposal to "struggle for freedom and abolition of slavery." In 1860 he was elected president.
