Italian artist Michelangelo has died.

Michelangelo Buonarroti (Michelangelo Buonarroti, 6 March 1475 – 18 February 1564), a great Italian Renaissance painter, sculptor and architect, representative of the highest peak of Renaissance sculpture art.

Born on March 6, 1475 in Capri, near Florence, his father was the self-governed mayor of the city of Quetzaltenango and the city of Capri. At the age of 13, he entered the studio of the Florentine painter Killandau, and then transferred to the Collegium of Medici at the Monastery of St. Mark as a disciple.

In 1496, Michelangelo came to Rome and created the first representative works of "Bacus" and "Lamentation of Christ" etc. In 1501, he returned to Florence and took four years to complete the world famous "David". In 1505, in Rome, he was in charge of the construction of the tomb of the pope by the order of Pope Julius II, and returned to Florence after the work was stopped in 1506.

In 1508, he was ordered to return to Rome, where he spent four years and five months to complete the famous painting on the ceiling of the Sixtine Church. In 1513, when the Pope's tomb was restored, Michelangelo created the famous "Moses", "The Binded Slave" and "The Dying Slave". In 1519-1534, he created his greatest work in Florence, the tombs of the Medici family in the Church of St. Lorenzo. In 1536, Michelangelo returned to the Romantic Church, and spent six years creating the great church wall painting "The Last Judgment". Afterwards he lived in Rome, engaged in sculpture, architecture and a small number of paintings, until his death in his studio on 18 February 1564.
