In 1912, because of the poverty of his home, the 12-year-old Trichov was forced to leave school early, to say goodbye to his parents and leave home and go alone to the capital Petersburg to make a living. In 1922, when the war stopped, Trukov applied for systematic study of military theory, and he was very eager to enter the Red Army Military Academy of Workers and Peasants.
