The first Mexico-Central American Summit concluded on 11 January 1991.
Today, 34 years ago, on 11 January 1991 (Lunar Calendar 26 November 1990), the first Mexico-Central America Summit closed. On 11 January 1991, the first Mexico-Central America Summit closed in Tuscany, Mexico’s southern city of Tuscany. At the end of the meeting, six leaders of Mexico, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Guatemala, El Salvador and Honduras adopted the Tuscany Declaration and two documents on Mexico’s enhanced cooperation with the five Central American countries.
