Aung San Suu Kyi was born in northern Burma on 13 February 1915 and became the leader of the student movement, namely, the famous “1300 movement” in Burma, after graduating from the university in 1937, was elected president of the All Burmese Student Association and joined the “I Burmese Association” as secretary-general of the Association. In 1938, the Japanese oil workers under the leadership of the Duching Party broke out an unprecedented strike, forming a nationwide anti-English movement, namely the famous “1300 movement” in Burma. On 15 August 1939, the Communist Party was founded and Aung San Suu Kyi was again the secretary-general of the “I Burmese Association”.
