Today, 585 years ago, on January 22, 1440 (December 18, 1439), was born Ivan III Vasilyevich Ivan III Vasilyevich (January 22, 1440 ¨C October 17, 1505), was the Grand Duchess of Moscow, in the period 1462-1505. Ivan III was the Grand Duchess of Moscow who made Russia independent. During Ivan III, Moscow unified the Russian Duchy of Yaroslavl, Novgorod, Perm, and Tbilisi, several of which were conquered several times by the Grand Duchy of Moscow before Ivan III and served to the Duchy of Moscow. Independence, slavery, and much of the far-reaching influence of the Third Rome on Russia resulted from this.
