Today, 42 years ago, on April 5, 1983 (February 22, 1983), China established an armed police force. On April 5, 1983, an armed police force with the main responsibility ofining social security in the country was established. At the beginning of its establishment, China established a public security force, renamed the Public Security Army in July 1955, revoked in September 1957, and joined the Liberation Army. After more than 20 years, the public security army reappeared under the name of Armed Police, and was formed by the Armed and Border Fire Police, the former internal service forces of the Liberation Army and the public security department. The Armed Police implemented the Liberation Army decrees and regulations and the treatment of the Liberation Army.
