At the end of the war, the Qing government sent Li Huhong章 to Japan.

On February 13, 1895, the Qing government appointed Li Hongzhi as the “First All-Power Minister” to Japan for peace. The Chinese-Japanese Aramco War experienced the battle of Pyongyang, the Yellow Sea, Jingdong, and the north-east, after the Qing army collapsed, the Qing government sought peace, promised to the Japanese request, and sent the “one Lord and peace” Li Hongzhi to peace. On March 14, Li Hongzhi and his son Li Hongzhi, the American adviser Koshida, left Tianjin to Japan, and on March 20, the Japanese Prime Minister Yitou Boon, and Foreign Minister Liao Zhongzhi began negotiations. On April 30, the two sides signed a ceasefire agreement.
