Invention of the injection injector in England on March 9, 1998.
Twenty-seven years ago today, on March 9, 1998 (February 11, 1998 in the lunar calendar), the jet syringe was invented in Britain. On March 9, 1998, in London, England, Danny Rosenkranz, president of British Oxygen Group Corporation (BOC), was inspecting their first batch of "jet injectors". This is a new type of syringe that doesn't use a needle, but is pressurized with helium, allowing vaccine particles to pass directly through the skin and enter the body.
