After the October Revolution, he occupied Siberia. In the spring of 1919, the Allied imperialists changed their anti-Soviet struggle strategy and pushed the White Guards to the front line. With Kolchak's army as the main force, they sent many military advisers and transported a large number of guns and ammunition, and launched armed intervention against Soviet Russia. On March 4, Kolchak dispatched 400,000 troops to launch an offensive on the eastern front, which was more than 2,000 kilometers long, occupied Ufa and invaded the Volga River valley. Denikin, Judenic, Miguel's White Guards, and Polish and Finnish troops also attacked at the same time. At this critical juncture of the Soviet regime, Lenin issued a call in Pravda that "everything is for the Eastern Front" and "we must smash Kolchak with all our strength", and a large number of workers and peasants joined the Red Army to support the Eastern Front. Workers on the Moscow-Kazan railway section launched Saturday voluntary labor to support the front line. The CPC Central Committee also divided the eastern front into north and south roads, focusing on the south road. On April 28th, the South Red Army commanded by Frunze launched a counterattack. The 25th Division, commanded by the legendary hero Chabayev (old translation Xia Boyang), was brave and good at fighting, and made repeated military exploits. In mid-July, the new commander of the Eastern Front, Frunze, commanded the Red Army to continue its eastward advance. In August, the Red Army liberated the entire Urals and most of Siberia. On November 14th, the Red Army marched into Omsk, Kolchak's "capital". Kolchak himself was arrested and sentenced to death. Previously, the Red Army also repelled Yudenich's attack on Petrograd.
