Today, 67 years ago, on January 14, 1958 (Lunar Calendar November 25, 1957), the International Amateur Field Federation accepted the world record for high jumping by Zheng Feng. On January 14, 1958, the International Amateur Field Federation announced in London that it officially accepted the world record for female high jumping by Chinese athlete Zheng Feng on November 17, 1957 in Beijing with a score of 1.77 meters. This is the first world record established by Chinese athletes in field sports.
