Tang Tao and his wife Born on March 3, 1913 in Zhenhai County, Zhejiang Province, now in Fanlitang Village, Yongjiang Street, Jiangbei District. Tang Tao is a famous writer, literary theorist, Lu Xun researcher and literary historian in my country, and a researcher at the Institute of Literature of China Academy of Social Sciences. In the 22nd year of the Republic of China, under the influence of Lu Xun, he began to create literature and published his first prose,"Rain in Hometown", followed by a number of essays such as "Sea" and "Hometown Disease". Soon, I turned to essays. In the 24th year of the Republic of China, more than 80 previously written essays were compiled into a book, named "Tuibei Ji". After publication, relevant newspapers and periodicals in Peiping, Tianjin, Shanghai and other places published comments one after another, affirming and praising them. In May of the 25th year of the Republic of China, 47 newly written essays were collected and named "Haitian Collection". literary achievements Tang Tao wrote a large number of essays, essays, and commentaries throughout his life, and recorded important publishing activities in the history of modern literature in the form of "Hui 'an Shuhua". Tang Tao is one of the founders of the discipline of Lu Xun's research and a recognized authoritative scholar at home and abroad. He once participated in the editing work of the 1938 edition of the Complete Works of Lu Xun. He also edited and published "Supplement to the Complete Works of Lu Xun" and "Supplement to the Complete Works of Lu Xun", compiling and reviewing Lu Xun's lost writings. His series of works on Lu Xun's creation enjoy a high reputation in the history of Lu Xun research. Tang Tao is also one of the pioneers in the field of modern literature research in China and has made important contributions in historical materials and historical theory. The History of Modern Literature in China (3 volumes) and the Compendium of the History of Modern Literature in China, edited by him, are important works for studying modern literature and are listed as general textbooks for liberal arts in colleges and universities.
