On this day, 79 years ago, on February 22, 1946 (January 21, 1946 in the lunar calendar), Liberation, a newspaper published by the Communist Party of China in the Kuomintang ruled area, was launched. On February 22, 1946, the Peiping Liberation Newspaper, sponsored by the Communist Party delegation of the Ministry of Military Investigation, was founded. It was a party newspaper of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China publicly published by the Communist Party of China in the Kuomintang rule area in North China. The task was to publicize our party's principles and policies and expose the Kuomintang's conspiracy activities against the complex political background at that time. At the beginning, it was a third daily issue. Changed from the 27th issue to the second daily issue. On May 29, it was closed together with the Beijing Branch of Xinhua Agency.
