On May 10, 1988, with formal approval from the State Council, my country's first high-tech industry development pilot zone-the Beijing City New Technology Industry Development Pilot Zone was established. This is China's first comprehensive base dominated by the electronic information industry and integrating scientific research, development, production, operation, training and services. This is the opening site of the Science and Technology Trade Center of the Beijing City New Technology Industry Development Pilot Zone.
