On this day, 43 years ago, on March 14, 1982 (February 19, 1982 in the lunar calendar), Shenzhen's construction began on a large scale. The Shenzhen Special Economic Zone under construction until March 1982, the Shenzhen Special Economic Zone had signed more than 600 agreements of various types with merchants, introduced more than 6000 sets (sets) of various equipment, and invested more than 2 billion Hong Kong dollars. The construction of Shenzhen is under way on a large scale. After being designated as a special economic zone, Shenzhen first started construction from the "five connections and one leveling" basic projects of access roads, water supply, electricity, navigation, communications and leveling of building land, providing conditions for investors to create and start various enterprises. In Luohu, most of the mountain top was shoveled away, 400,000 cubic meters of soil were removed, and 300,000 square meters of construction land were filled. According to the overall construction plan of Shenzhen, it will be built into a prosperous service center in the special zone with more than 40 high-rise buildings. The Shekou Industrial Zone, founded by China Merchants Group in Hong Kong, has basically completed basic projects. Two million cubic meters of earth have been excavated and 950,000 hectares of land have been leveled here. The imported factories are under construction, and roads, water plants, power substations, and microwave communication stations have been completed.
