Chen was wearing a blue cloth blouse, gray hair, white-rimmed glasses, a Parker pen in his lapel, a luminous watch in his left hand, and a jade bracelet on his right wrist. He looked calm. The trial court is presided over by Sun Honglin, the president of the court, and Wei Weiqing is the prosecutor. The First Criminal Court of the Jiangsu High Court has a large house, but all the spectators are sick. There are also two reporters from the United States Press in the press gallery. Chen's daughter Wang Wenxun and others were sitting in the corner of the front gallery. When they saw Chen Bijun being escorted to court by the bailiff and standing in the dock, they could not help but wipe away tears frequently. The prosecutor stated the main points of the prosecution. At this point, the court asked: "You have discussed the war of resistance in Beijing and know that the war of resistance requires sacrifice. Why did you want peace later? "Chen Bijun said: " We have to fight back in wartime. We can make peace in peacetime. We want peace. The sacrifices in the war are too great." Question: "So what if the China-Japan Manchuria Declaration gently sends off Northeast China and sacrifices it?" Answer: "The China-Japan Manchuria Declaration is also temporary. All property was confiscated except for the necessary living expenses of his family. Chen Bijun's daughter Wang Wenxun filed an appeal, which was rejected by the Nanjing Supreme Court: upholding the original sentence.
