On this day, 44 years ago, on February 26, 1981 (January 22, 1981 in the lunar calendar), a symposium on the reform of the industrial management system was held. From February 26 to March 12, 1981, with the approval of the State Council, the State Economic Commission and the System Reform Office of the State Council jointly held a symposium on industrial management system reform. The meeting focused on discussing issues such as continuing to restructure and unite industrial enterprises during the adjustment period, consolidating and improving pilot projects to expand enterprise autonomy, rectifying and strengthening enterprise management, and reforming the county (city) industrial management system. On April 1, the State Council approved the "Outline of the Report of the Symposium on Industrial Management System Reform" and issued a notice.
