On this day, 141 years ago, on October 5, 1884 (August 17, 1884 in the lunar calendar), Xiangtan talented woman Zhang Mojun was born. Zhang Mojun (1883-1965), formerly known as Zhaohan, also known as Shufang, was a native of Longdong, Hunan Province. He was a China democratic revolutionary, pioneer of the women's movement, and educator. Zhang Mojun's father, Zhang Tongdian, was a member of the Qing Dynasty. He was a scholar in poetry and poetry. During the Guangxu period of the Qing Dynasty, he assisted Zeng Guoquan in supervising the study of Liangjiang. His mother, He Chenghui, is also familiar with the present and the past, and is known as the "Female Teacher in the Sea". She is a "child prodigy" in the eyes of Xiangxiang County, a close sister in Qiu Jin's heart, a female reporter and director of "Jiangsu Dahan Daily", and a "young and promising young woman" in Sun Yat-sen's words... On October 5, 1884 (the sixth day of September of the 10th year of the Guangxu reign of the Qing Dynasty), she was born into a scholar-official family in Xiangxi Township, the second capital of Xiangxiang (now Longdong Township). It was originally named Zhaohan, and its nickname was Baochi. On January 30, 1965, he died of gastric cancer at the Taipei Air Force General Hospital at the age of 81. After persuading women to "put their feet" and write "Tianzu Yin" at the age of 8, influenced by their parents, Zhang Mojun was enlightened very early and was regarded as a "child prodigy." She could read at the age of 2, began to read poetry books at the age of 3, read "Three Hundred Tang Poems" at the age of 4 and wrote a couplet, and entered a private school at the age of 6, reading a subset of classics and history and copying inscriptions. Zhang Mojun was "precocious" at a young age. She resisted her sister's foot binding, denounced the cruelty of foot binding like an adult, and talked freely about the reasons for letting go, leaving the opponents speechless. Even her father couldn't believe that this was coming from a little girl. At the age of 8, Zhang Tongdian was appointed as the chief of the Jiangnan Navy Academy. He sponsored American priests to launch the "Tianzu Society" in Shanghai and sent the charter and advice documents to his home. Zhang Mojun also begged his mother to invest in printing 100,000 copies to persuade people to "spare enough". Once this matter was publicized, millions of women were "released". At that time, a scholar wrote a song to ridicule: "Xiangxiang County, Tang Zhang, Jie Guanyin, is a majestic and powerful person." When eight-year-old Zhang Mojun heard this, he picked up a pen and wrote a song "The Yin of Heaven's Foot":"I pity the people and the gods that move the sky, and watch the sinking from the sea of suffering. After all, Bingyi is the same as you, and you are still solemn and comfortable." This poetry is "retaliation", which choked the scholar who wrote "strange songs" to ridicule her. The villagers were shocked and thought that this girl would be extraordinary in the future. China's first female member of the Higher Education Examination. In 1906, Zhang Mojun and his father joined the Alliance at the same time and met Qiu Jin. The two talked about "promoting women's rights and promoting people's morality" and became close friends. In 1912, Zhang Mojun, Tan Sheying, Tang Guoli and others established the "Shenzhou Women's Association" and the "Northern Expedition Team", and raised 50,000 yuan to support the Nanjing Provisional Government where Sun Yat-sen served as interim president. It was praised by Sun Yat-sen and called "young and promising young women." In 1918, Zhang Mojun went to Europe and the United States to inspect women's education. After returning to China, he was re-appointed as the principal of the First Division of Jiangsu Province and presided over the "Women's Weekly" edition of the Shanghai Times. In 1929, she became the first examination member of the National Government, and was later hired as a member of the Higher Education Code Examination, becoming the first female examination member in China. In 1932, when the national examination ended and was released, a total of 2482 male and female examiners were admitted, and 103 of them were admitted. No one was female. Zhang Mojun cried bitterly at his desk in the office. The Code Committee held a special meeting to discuss and request the state government to add and amend the "Examination Regulations" to give preferential treatment to women and lower scores for admission. She heard the news and defended "equality between men and women." During the second exam, two women entered the list. She was so excited that she wrote a poem and wrote: "One day it declares that the world is known, and the future is glorious; After all, Bingyi is the same as you, and he talks about men being better than daughters." Zhang Mojun's experience has always been neither humble nor arrogant, such as the saying,"Mojun does things earnestly and never pleases the public." She wrote a lot of poems and calligraphy, all of which had a "Nanshe flavor". Her life is also a literary life, and she has developed her pen and pen in a bumpy life. Unfortunately, few people now know her story. News raw data sources → https://www.abtool.cn/today_detail/1g3a.html 17WorldNews[2025.09.28-07:15] 访问:83
