Appointed Wang Zhixin as Director of the Capital Police

On January 21, 1913, Wang Zhixin was appointed as the police chief of the capital.

Wang Zhixin, a native of Laiyang, Shandong. The "Character Chronicle" in the volume "Laiyang County Chronicle" (24th Edition of the Republic of China) contains: "Deputy tribute of the Qing Dynasty, recommended Taoist. The Republic of China served as the police chief of the outer cities of Beijing, Shuntian Mansion Yin, Zhenglan Banner Deputy Governor." Wang Zhixin, deputy tribute, was promoted to the prefect for his participation in the suppression of the Boxer Rebellion movement, and soon went to Tianjin to found a patrol police, and successively served as senior police officials and chief patrol officers in Gyeonggi, Fengtian and the three northeastern provinces. On January 21, 1913, Wang Zhixin was appointed as the police chief of the capital. According to historical records, Wang Zhixin was arrested by Yuan Shikai on June 27, 1914 for being implicated in the assassination of Song Jiaoren, and was executed on October 23.
