122 years ago today, on April 27, 1903 (April 1, 1903 in the lunar calendar), Shanghai launched an anti-Russian movement. In April 1902, Qinglang made a contract with Tsarist Russia, stipulating that all the Tsarist Russian troops who had occupied the northeast during the suppression of the Boxer Regiment would be expelled in stages. In 1903, the Russian army refused to accept the withdrawal and made seven unreasonable demands, which aroused the indignation of the Chinese people.
