40 years ago today, on October 14, 1985 (September 1, 1985 in the lunar calendar), a case of selling diplomas in Taipei was exposed. On October 14, 1985, Taiwan cracked a case of selling forged academic certificates. According to investigations by the "Investigation Bureau", 70% of the graduation certificates or completion certificates of private Mingde Middle School in Pingtung County were sold during the ten years from 1970 to 1979; after 1979, half were sold. One is that students pay tuition fees on time every semester and do not have to attend classes.
