Huo Yuanjia (January 18, 1868 - September 14, 1910), a famous patriotic martial artist in the late Qing Dynasty, named Junqing, his ancestral home was Anletun, Dongguang, Hebei Province (belonging to Cangzhou area), Han nationality. He lived in Xiaonanhe Village, Jinghai, Tianjin (now Nanhe Town, Xiqing District, Tianjin City). In memory of Huo Yuanjia, a famous patriotic martial artist at home and abroad, he was reviewed by the Tianjin Municipal Civil Affairs Bureau and reported to the Tianjin Municipal People's Government for approval. Since January 18, 2009, his hometown, Nanhe Town, Xiqing, Tianjin, has been renamed Jingwu Town). He is the founder of Shanghai Jingwu Sports Association. It made the people feel proud and rejoiced. In the autumn of 1890, Huo Yuanjia defeated a warrior who came to the door to compete and had a reputation of "high martial arts". After that, Huo Yuanjia gradually became famous in Tianjin due to his love of chivalry and righteousness. Huo Yuanjia worked as a steward in the foot shop (the spontaneous organization of porters), and later went to work at the Huaiqing Pharmacy outside the north gate of Tianjin. During his work in the pharmacy, he was able to stir up thousands of catties of medicinal materials and push two big bluestone woes. People gave him the nickname "Huo Hercules". While working at the Huaiqing Pharmacy, Huo Yuanjia met the pharmacy shopkeeper Nong Jinsun. When Nong Jinsun learned the news from the newspapers, he recommended Huo Yuanjia to Chen Qimei, a well-known figure in Shanghai, a member of the alliance, and a revolutionary party.
