On this day, 92 years ago, on June 20, 1933 (May 28, 1933, the leader of the international women's movement, Chaijin, passed away. Clara Zetkin is one of the leaders of the German Social Democratic Party and the Left of the Second International, one of the leaders of the International Socialist Women's Movement, and one of the founders of the German Communist Party. On July 5, 1875, he was born into a teacher's family in Saxony. She has loved reading since she was a child, especially the two banned books collected by her father, describing the Swiss and French revolutions. In her childhood, she had learned that "one must be prepared to sacrifice his life for what one believes in." From 1874 to 1878, he studied at the Private Normal School in Leipzig. In 1878, Clara met the Russian revolutionary Osib Zeitkin and married the revolutionary in 1882. Under Osiber's guidance, Zeitkin began to read the Communist Manifesto and other works by Marx and Engels. She quickly grasped the essence of socialist theory. Ossib also often took her to Social Democratic gatherings, listened to reports from William Liebknecht, and enthusiastically discussed workers 'issues with the workers. Zetkin's activities aroused strong opposition from teachers and relatives and friends, but Zetkin's political beliefs overcame everything. She excitedly said to the teacher with tears in her eyes: "I cannot give up my faith." In 1897 she joined the German Social Democratic Party and was among the ranks of the proletariat launching an attack on the bourgeoisie. In order to promote women's liberation and lead women in their struggle to achieve urgent demands, in 1891 Zetkin founded and led the Equality Newspaper, which guided the European women's movement. She used Equality as a weapon in her hands, making it a communicator of the socialist women's movement. Zetkin undertook all the editorial work with astonishing courage and courage, and Equality became a good mentor and friend to the women. Because it wrote about their lives, reflected their pain, and shouted out angry cries for them. Zeitkin successfully made Equality the sharpest weapon of the socialist women's movement. In August 1907, the first International Socialist Women's Congress was held in Stuttgart, Germany. At the meeting, it was decided to establish the Women's International Democratic Federation, use Equality Newspaper as the official newspaper, and elected Cai Tejin as the secretary of the Secretariat. In August 1910, Zaitkin presided over the Second International Women's Congress. The conference recommended that March 8 be designated as International Women's Day to commemorate the March 8, 1909 demonstration by textile workers in Chicago, USA, demanding "equality between men and women." This proposal was warmly approved by all participants, and Clara Zetkin's name was closely associated with the "March 8" International Working Women's Day and the Proletarian Women's Liberation Movement. She is known as the "Mother of the International Women's Movement". In his later years, Zeitkin fought heroically against German fascist fanatics. In 1932, Zetkin traveled from Moscow to Berlin to preside over the opening ceremony of the German Parliament. At that time, the fascists hated Zeitkin to the core and threatened to kill Zeitkin if she dared to preside over the conference. However, Zetkin was not intimidated and believed that in such a reactionary parliament, the voice of the working people must be heard out. Just as the last ringing of the opening ceremony of the National Assembly had just ended, Zeitkin stepped onto the rostrum of the National Assembly. This is how Zeitkin fought his whole life for the cause of the proletariat and the liberation of women around the world. On June 20, 1933, Zeitkin died of illness in Moscow at the age of 76.
