Nine-year-old Rabin is with his mother and sister

Rabin was born in Jerusalem on March 1, 1922. He studied at the University of Miami in the United States as a student. He entered the military at the age of 18. He served as Brigade Commander of the'Harel 'Brigade during the Arab-Israeli War in 1948. He participated in the Arab-Israeli ceasefire negotiations as a member of the Israel Defense Forces delegation in 1949. He served as Chief of Operations of the Israel Defense Forces General Staff in 1950. He studied at Camberley Staff College in the United Kingdom in 1952. He served as Chief of Military Training of the Israel General Staff from 1954 to 1956 and was promoted to Major General. He served as Commander of the Northern Military Region from 1956 to 1959. He served as Deputy Chief of General Staff of the Defense Forces from 1960 to 1964. He served as Chief of General Staff of the Defense Forces from 1964 to 1968. He served as Ambassador to the United States in 1968. In the spring of 1973, he returned to join the activities of the Israeli Labor Party. He was elected as a Member of Parliament in January 1974. In June of the same year, From 1984 to 1990, he served as Minister of Defense. In February 1992, Rabin was re-elected as the leader of the Labor Party. In June of the same year, the Labor Party won the general election, and Rabin became the prime minister again.

Prime Minister Rabin is married and currently has a son and a daughter.
