On this day, 92 years ago, on February 18, 1933 (January 24, 1933 in the lunar calendar), Kruber Company manufactured automobile diesel engines. Friedrich Kruber of the Industrial Zone of Essen, Germany announced on February 18, 1933 that it had successfully manufactured the first air-cooled diesel engine for use in automobiles.
