Chen Boda in the "Cultural Revolution" On January 26, 1971, the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China issued "Materials on the Crimes of Chen Boda, an Anti-Party Element". The material is divided into 4 sections. The first part is "Chen Boda's reactionary history". The second part is "taking refuge in and following Wang Ming and Liu Shaoqi's proletarian revolutionary line against Chairman Mao". The third part is "confronting Chairman Mao's great strategic plan, destroying the Great Proletarian Cultural Revolution, opposing the party and disordering the army, and conspiring to usurp power". The fourth part is "taking refuge in Wang Ming and Liu Shaoqi, surrendering and accepting rebellions, and building an independent kingdom".
