Krylov's full name is Ivan Andreyevich Krylov (1768~1844), a famous Russian fable writer. Born into a poor family of infantry captains in Moscow. He used to be a journalist. He has served as an editor of satirical publications such as "Morning" and "Elf Post", and has written many satirical literature. At the same time, he has also written several satirical dramas such as "Crazy Family" and "Hookers". But his main achievement was due to his writing of 206 fables. In 1819, when Krylov was 50 years old, he decided to learn ancient Greek in order to read the poems of the ancient Greek poet Homer and the original text of Aesop's fables. A friend advised him: "It is very difficult for a person to learn a foreign language at the age of fifty. He said: "As long as you have determination and perseverance, it is never too late to learn at any time. Two years later, he mastered ancient Greek proficiently and read the original text of Aesop's fables fluently, which amazed his friend Gnedic, an expert on ancient Greek. After 1806, he devoted himself to writing fables. Published 9 volumes of "Krylov's Fables", with a total of 206 articles. Krylov's fables are all about birds, insects, fish and beasts, mountains, rivers, flowers and plants, but they all express the content of reality, so they are very infectious to readers. Another characteristic of Krylov's fable is that his language is simple, humorous, witty and attractive, and he absorbs a large number of folk proverbs and common sayings, making the article appear popular, vivid and intimate.
