For the sake of safety, the Chinese government requires the governments and regional authorities of relevant countries and regions to inform their own ships and aircraft not to enter the above-mentioned waters and airspace during this period. From March 18 to 25, 1996, the Nanjing Theater successfully organized a joint combat exercise of the land, sea and air forces in the Taiwan Strait.
