100 years ago today, on April 30, 1925 (April 8, 1925 in the lunar calendar), Art Deco was born in Paris. The evening dress designed by Paul Poiret, named "Mirror", France once again shocked the world with an intoxicating new international art exhibition. The exhibition opened on April 30, 1925.
