It is the first time in the history of our country that troops have been dispatched to participate in UN peacekeeping operations. This is conducive to the peace and development of Cambodia and South East Asia, and fully reflects our country's consistent position and desire to maintain world peace and support a political settlement of the Cambodian issue.
