125 years ago today, on January 5, 1900 (December 5, 1899 lunar calendar), the Peking Opera performing artist Xun Huisheng was born. Xun Huisheng, like Xun Huisheng, was born in Dongguang County, Hebei Province on January 5, 1900. The original noun, also known as Bingyi, Bingchao, the word Hui Sheng, the number Liuxiang, the stage name Bai Peony, later used Hui Sheng. As a child, he studied art with teacher Pang in the class of Yishun and Bangzi, and studied Huadan. His first performance was at Kuixing Tower, Tianjin. He entered Beijing in 1910 and studied under the actor Hou Junsheng of Bangzi, and later worshipped many famous teachers. He performed on the same stage with many famous actors, and became famous for a while. Since the 1920s, he has been committed to the exploration of the innovation of Peking Opera art. Due to his profound skills, broad drama, and his attendance in the Bangzi class, he was able to absorb the art of Bangzi Dan's feet, melt the performances of Peking Opera Tsing Yi, Huadan, Boudoir Dan, and Dao Ma Dan in one furnace, and combine the skills of Peking Opera Xiaosheng, Wusheng and other industries. He carried out reforms and creations that suit his own conditions in various aspects, such as singing, recitation, figure, makeup, and clothing.
