Radio inventor Popov died

BoboHe was the first Russian scientist to explore the radio world and strive for the development of radio throughout his life. However, due to the feudal decadence of tsarist Russia, his cause did not receive the support of the state. On January 16, 1906, he died of a sudden cerebral hemorrhage and lived only 47 years old. Since the Nobel Prize was awarded only to living scientists, Popov did not receive the honor. In March 1859, Popov was born in a small town in a Kuangqu mining area in Urals, Russia. In 1877, he was admitted to the Department of Mathematical Physics at Petersburg University and later transferred to the Forest College. In 1894, Popov built a radio receiver, and he used an antenna on the receiver for the first time. This is also the world's first antenna. On March 24, 1896, Popov and his assistant Rybkin officially performed a performance of transmitting Morse telegram codes by radio at the annual meeting of the Russian Physical and Chemical Society. There were more than a thousand people present. During the performance, the receiver was installed in the Physical Society Conference Hall, and the transmitter was placed in the chemistry hall of the nearby Forest College. Rybkin sends a signal, Popov receives the signal, and the communication distance is 250 meters. Professor Petroshevki, president of the Physical Society Branch, wrote the letters of the telegram he received one by one on the blackboard. The final message was: "Heinrich Hertz." It expresses Popov's reverence for the inventor of electromagnetic waves. Although this telegram was short and only a few words, it was the world's first wireless telegram with clear content.
