On this day, 45 years ago, March 15, 1980 (January 29, 1980, the symposium on work in Xizang ended. On March 14 and 15, 1980, the Secretariat of the Central Committee held a symposium on work in Xizang to discuss the principles, tasks and several policy issues for the construction of Xizang. On April 7, the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China issued the "Notice on Forwarding the Minutes of the Xizang Work Symposium."
