On this day, 33 years ago, on October 14, 1992 (September 19, 1992, the lunar calendar), China announced that the Berne Convention would officially enter into force. On October 14, 1992, Liu Gao, deputy director of the National Copyright Administration of China, announced today that China has become the 93rd member of the Berne Convention, the world's earliest and most comprehensive international copyright protection convention. This convention will officially enter into force in China on the 15th. This marks that my country's intellectual property protection system has fully entered the level of synchronization with the world. The World Copyright Convention, another world copyright protection organization that my country has joined, will enter into force on October 30, 1992.
