Chinese tennis women's doubles duo Zheng Jie and Yan Zi defied strong players in the women's doubles final of the Australian Open held in Melbourne, Australia's second largest city on the 27th. In the case of falling behind, they defeated the top seed of this competition and won the first Grand Slam championship in Chinese history. Fu Ying, the Chinese ambassador to Australia, called the Chinese tennis team immediately after Zheng Jie and Yan Zi won the championship.
