On April 15, 2002 (March 3, 2002 in the lunar calendar), an Air China China passenger plane crashed in Busan, South Korea, killing 128 people. At about 10:40 a.m.(11:40 local time) on April 15, 2002, a Boeing 767-200 passenger plane of China International Airlines crashed in Shenyu Mountain near Ikeoudong, Gimhae City, South Korea. According to reports, the passenger plane's number is B2552. It carried out the Beijing-Busan flight mission (CA129) at 8:37 a.m. on April 15 and took off from Beijing Capital International Airport. It is expected to arrive at Busan Airport after 2 hours of flight. At that time, Busan Airport was heavily fogged and visibility was low. At about 10:40, the plane crashed in Gimhae City. There were 3 pilots, 8 flight attendants and 155 passengers on board, including 19 China passengers, 135 South Korean passengers and 1 Uzbekistan passenger. A total of 38 people on board survived, including 10 China passengers. Shortly after the crash, China International Airlines launched emergency response procedures. The crash was also the first plane crash of China International Airlines in 47 years. China International Airlines, headquartered in Beijing, is the air transport company with the largest assets and largest transportation volume in my country. It has a registered capital of 1.5 billion yuan and total assets of 35.9 billion yuan. The Air China Flight Corps has more than 1000 pilots and more than 400 captains.
