On March 24, 1103, Yue Fei, an outstanding military general of the Southern Song Dynasty, was born
On this day, 922 years ago, March 24, 1103 (February 15, 1103, the 1103 lunar calendar), Yue Fei, an outstanding military general of the Southern Song Dynasty, was born. The famous anti-Jin general Yue Fei Yue Fei (1103-1142) is a national hero, strategist, martial artist, and famous anti-Jin general. The word Pengju, the posthumous title of Wu Mu, was later changed to the posthumous title of Zhongwu. On February 15, the second year of Chongning (March 24, 1103), Emperor Huizong of the Song Dynasty was born in Xiaotili, Yonghe Township, Tangyin County, Xiangzhou (now Chenggang Village, Tangyin County, Henan Province). My ancestors have been farming for generations. Yue Fei lost his father when he was a child and was raised by his mother. It is said that his mother made him remember the hatred of the country and the family by tattooing the words "Be loyal to the country" on his back. He once learned martial arts from Zhou Dong as his teacher. In 1124, at the age of 21, he joined the army and served as a subordinate of Zongze. He made many military achievements and once defeated ten thousand hardware soldiers with 800 Yuejia troops, making him famous. He served as the former Zhongwu Tongjun, the commander of the Ezhou Garrison Army, and the governor of the three towns including Heyang. During the Jingkang rebellion in 1126, the Jin soldiers conquered Kaifeng and the Northern Song Dynasty fell. In 1134 (the fourth year of Shaoxing), Yue Fei attacked gold for the first time and recovered six prefectures including Xiangyang and Xinyang. In 1136 (the sixth year of Shaoxing), the Northern Expedition was again carried out and Yiyang and Luoyang were occupied. Later, he was forced to withdraw to Ezhou after fighting alone. Yue Fei wrote "The Red River" without fulfilling his ambition during this Northern Expedition. In the spring of 1140 (the tenth year of Shaoxing), the Jin Wushu invaded the south. Yue Fei sent troops to defeat the Jin soldiers and recover Zhengzhou and Luoyang. He was stationed in Zhuxian Town (now 20 kilometers south of Kaifeng, Henan) and directly attacked Bianjing, the capital of the Jin Dynasty. The morale of the Yue family army was high and they shouted "Go straight to the Yellow Dragon". Qin Hui, the leader of peace, offered advice to Emperor Gaozong of the Song Dynasty and recalled Yue Fei with twelve gold medals in succession. Before Yue Fei retreated, he sighed and said,"Ten years of work have been destroyed in one fell swoop! All the states and counties you have acquired will be closed in one day! It is difficult to revitalize the country! The Qiankun world has no reason to recover!" As a result, Yue Fei's Northern Expedition failed due to political reasons. Later, Yue Fei and his son were arrested and interrogated by Qin Hui on charges of treason. Since no evidence could be found and no trial results were obtained, Qin Hui was finally sentenced to death in Fengbo Pavilion, Dali Temple, Hangzhou, on the night of the New Year's Eve on the 29th day of the twelfth lunar month in the eleventh year of Shaoxing (1142). In the thirty-second year of Shaoxing (1153), Emperor Xiaozong of Song Dynasty ascended the throne and prepared for the Northern Expedition. He issued an edict to rehabilitate Yue Fei, posthumously posthumously named King of E, Wu Mu, Zhongwu, and was buried in Qixia Ridge, West Lake, which is the "Tomb of King of E of Song Yue" on the bank of West Lake in Hangzhou. He also built a temple to worship in Wuchang, Hubei. He was named loyal and wrote a biography of Song history. "Serve the country with your loyalty"
